Sometimes too, it's wonderful to share the inspiration you get from a simple video. What am I talking about - I wouldn't find it simple to make any video?!
This little snippet of writing is really about my Christmas wish for all who read this.
It's short, but that's because, apart from my writing, I want you to watch this video. No apologies from my side. Just hoping it'll put joy into your heart and keep you aware of the power adults have to influence the children who come their way.
This video came to me without any message at all Not even a Dear Vicki ...! It was emailed courtesy of one of my knitting friends, Kay. You'll see her in the group photo, second from the left if you click on the embedded link in her name. But, it didn't need any words to express the beauty of it.
Several years ago I spent considerable time in Singapore. I love the way messages and business cards are handed out there, reverently, with great respect, because someone has put time and effort into building a career, a job, a respected life.
So both hands are used when exchanging. Its just the polite, respectful thing to do. I felt this great tenderness, seeing the respectful interactions in this lovely video, and related it to my time among the Singaporeans.
May you all have a wonderful Christmas, and I'm hoping 2015 will be one of growth, productivity and peace.
The Video - Thank you Kay!
Thank you for the visit and Happy Christmas,
Vicki
