Now they're out, and looking for something delicious to break the long fast. Only one problem, the grass and other vegetation hasn't managed to grow enough yet.
So, if you go out in the woods today, you might find a big, growly, black, furry surprise. Beware a walk on a spring-like day.
Spring cleaning means different things to different folks. I've seen rabid housewives actually take huge rugs and drape them over clothes lines and fences, then beat them almost hysterically until no speck of dust dares to fly. Needless to say, I've never actually done this myself, but it does seem to give them a certain satisfaction.
I was fascinated to see that there are whole checklists for spring cleaning online. This one, by Kelly, the site owner, says she is “passionate about keeping house.” Her checklist is so pretty but quite formidable. I decided it might be good motivation to download and print it, so now I have a plan to work to. That's not to say I’ll be successful in this spring cleaning mission! I'm a wannabe good housekeeper. Just seems I get distracted by too many other things in life!
Have a great weekend and see you next week!
